Galaxy Unpacked date and timing

Samsung is expected to host its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026 on February 25, according to a leaked image shared by well-known leaker Evan Blass. While Samsung has not yet issued official invitations, the date is widely considered reliable. Details such as the exact time and time zone are still pending and should be confirmed closer to the event.

Galaxy S26 lineup: familiar design, upgraded internals

The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are expected to follow Samsung’s recent design philosophy, prioritizing refinement over radical change. Leaks suggest the lineup will maintain flat displays, rounded corners, and vertically aligned rear cameras, closely resembling the Galaxy S25 series.

All three models are expected to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, though some regions may receive Samsung’s Exynos 2600 processor. These upgrades should bring noticeable gains in performance and on-device AI processing.

The Galaxy S26 may grow slightly, featuring a 6.3-inch FHD+ display, 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and a 4,300mAh battery. Camera hardware is expected to remain unchanged. The Galaxy S26+ is rumored to see even fewer changes, keeping its 6.7-inch display, 4,900mAh battery, and existing camera system.

Galaxy S26 Ultra and Qi2 support

The Galaxy S26 Ultra could introduce more meaningful changes. Reports suggest a switch back to an aluminum frame and more pronounced camera rings with a metallic finish. Samsung may also remove the traditional S Pen digitizer layer, potentially enabling full Qi2 wireless charging support without requiring a special case.

Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro

Samsung is also expected to unveil the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro. Leaked images point to a more compact charging case and smoother stem design. The earbuds may support head gestures for call control and could include an Ultra Wideband chip for improved tracking through Google’s Find Hub network.

Galaxy Z TriFold and Galaxy S26 Edge

The Galaxy Z TriFold, announced in late 2025 and launching in the US on January 30, is unlikely to be a major focus at Unpacked due to its recent debut and premium price. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Edge is expected to return as a niche option, potentially thinner than its predecessor and featuring a redesigned camera module.

Bixby and expanded AI features

AI is expected to play a central role at Galaxy Unpacked. Samsung may debut a revamped version of Bixby alongside deeper AI integrations within One UI. Reports also suggest potential partnerships beyond Google, signaling Samsung’s intent to diversify its AI ecosystem and enhance contextual assistance across devices.
