Microsoft has unveiled a bold new collaboration with Crocs, producing a pair of officially licensed shoes inspired by the design of the Xbox controller. The result is one of the most attention-grabbing footwear releases of the year, blending gaming culture with the comfort and quirkiness the Crocs brand is known for.
A Design Inspired by the Xbox Controller
The Xbox Classic Clog features an unmistakable controller layout across the top of the shoe. Each pair includes the iconic A, B, X, Y buttons, the D-pad, analog sticks and the signature white Xbox button. Even the heel strap receives the full treatment, featuring a bright green Xbox logo in place of Crocs’ traditional emblem.
According to the product page, the shoe was “designed to kick back and game,” emphasizing comfort while paying tribute to one of the most recognizable accessories in gaming history.
Xbox-Themed Jibbitz Pack
Alongside the clogs, Xbox and Crocs have released a special Jibbitz charm pack with five charms celebrating some of the most beloved franchises in the Xbox universe. The set features designs inspired by Halo, Fallout, Doom, World of Warcraft and Sea of Thieves. These charms can be added to the Xbox clogs or any other Crocs footwear for a personalized touch.
Pricing and Availability
The Xbox Classic Clog is priced at $80 in the U.S. and £80 in the U.K. Demand is already high, and customers can join a waiting list to secure a pair once restocks become available.
This isn’t Crocs’ first step into gaming collaborations. Earlier this year, the company partnered with Nintendo for a collection inspired by Animal Crossing: New Horizons, complete with themed charms featuring fan favorites like Blathers and Celeste.
A Growing Trend in Gaming Apparel
Gaming-inspired fashion continues to surge in popularity, and the Xbox x Crocs collaboration underscores how deeply gaming culture influences mainstream consumer products. With Crocs tapping into multiple gaming franchises and Microsoft celebrating milestones like the Xbox 360’s 20th anniversary, fans are finding more ways than ever to wear their nostalgia.
